CPD & Continuing Education
After Graduation, chiropractors must complete annual Continuous Professional Development (CPD) requirements in order to maintain their registration with the General Chiropractic Council (GCC). They may also choose to pursue their particular interests by completing postgraduate Masters level programmes. The College offers programmes in Chiropractic Paediatrics and Chiropractic for Animals.
Current requirements are that all Chiropractors must complete 30 hours of Continuous Professional Development (CPD) between September and August each year.
We offer a wide range of CPD seminars which take place here at the College (unless otherwise stated). Please see below for the current seminars on offer.

Case History & Rehabilitation of Horses - Wednesday 26 June with Sarah Hedderly & Nikki Routledge
Additional Rib Adjustments & Saddle Fit – Wednesday 17 July with Nikki Routlege
(Venue: Avon Riding Centre, Bristol)
The importance of the ribs is underestimated in view of the rider/saddle position on the horses back. By palpation and adjustment of the ribs, this can enable improved flexibility of the ribcage and improved comfort to the horse. Saddle fit and rider position are influential in the incidence of misalignment in the back and ribcage – greater understanding of saddle fit and common issues can enable better treatment and aftercare of the patient.
BGI II – Saturday 27 & Sunday 28 July 2013
(only those who have completed BGI I may attend this seminar!)
Equine Shoulder & Pelvis Adjustment – Tuesday 20 August with Nikki Routlege
