Animal Programmes

At McTimoney College we offer a range of animal programmes designed to provide students with the knowledge, practical and clinical skills they need to become successful animal practitioners. These programmes include:

  • Graduate Certificate in Animal Therapy – Providing a career path for those with a degree in an animal-related subject to acquire equine and canine massage skills. It is, also the main entry route into the MSc Animal Manipulation programme for those who are not qualified chiropractors
  • Master of Veterinary Chiropractic (MVetChiro) – This is the first and only Integrated Masters in Veterinary Chiropractic in the UK and is specifically designed for school leavers to give them the necessary skills, knowledge and hands-on experience to start a rewarding career in chiropractic for animals.
  • MSc Animal Manipulation (Chiropractic) – the only masters level programme in Europe that trains students for a career in in chiropractic for animals . This programme is designed for qualified chiropractors who wish to transfer their skills to the care of animals and for those with an animal-related degree who must first complete the Graduate Certificate in Animal Therapy.
  • MSc Animal Manipulation (Osteopathy) -A masters-level programme that trains students in osteopathy for animals. This programme is designed for qualified osteopaths who wish to transfer their skills to the care of animals.
