CPD & Continuing Education

After Graduation, chiropractors must complete annual Continuing Professional Development (CPD) requirements in order to maintain their registration with the General Chiropractic Council (GCC).  They may also choose to pursue their particular interests by completing postgraduate Masters level programmes. The College offers programmes in Chiropractic Paediatrics and Chiropractic for Animals.

Current requirements are that all Chiropractors must complete 30 hours of Continuing Professional Development (CPD) between September and August each year.

Introducing our “Better Practice Through……” Series of Seminars:

…..Helping You and Your Patients Make Better Nutrition Choices – Saturday 23 March – Speaker:  Gaye Godkin

We are delighted to welcome Gaye Godkin to the College this year as one of our CPD speakers.  Gaye was a speaker at the recent Chiropractors Association of Ireland meeting, and is one of Ireland’s leading public health nutritionists.  She is a passionate sought after entertaining speaker, and is a regular media contributor on radio and TV as well as writing for the Irish Independent.

Gaye has been working in this area for many years and has a deep understanding of how to cultivate a healthier environment by educating, empowering and supporting people to make healthier food choices and engage in positive lifestyle behaviours.  Her objective is to achieve a high rate of engagement by delivering a passionate and inspirational message.  Her work is evidence based without using scientific jargon.

This popular seminar will enable you to learn new techniques to improve the way you adjust your patients.
