CPD & Continuing Education

After Graduation, chiropractors must complete annual Continuing Professional Development (CPD) requirements in order to maintain their registration with the General Chiropractic Council (GCC).  They may also choose to pursue their particular interests by completing postgraduate Masters level programmes. The College offers programmes in Chiropractic Paediatrics and Chiropractic for Animals.

Current requirements are that all Chiropractors must complete 30 hours of Continuing Professional Development (CPD) between September and August each year.

Introducing our “Better Practice Through……” Series of Seminars:

 

………Refreshing Your Knowledge of Orthopaedic Testing – Saturday 6 July – Speaker:  Laura Pendleton

This seminar will refresh your knowledge of the orthopaedic examination, enabling you to move forward with confidence to integrate the testing into your New Patient assessment process.

This will be an intense 1-day sports massage refresher CPD, focussing on the relationship between soft tissue and osseous structures – how the two relate, and when it is indicated for one intervention or the other.  Includes comprehensive course notes.

This seminar will enable you to learn new rehabilitation techniques which you will be able to use in your practice straight away!

Specifically tailored to clinicians, this seminar goes far beyond the HSE syllabus, and you will obtain a First Aid qualification which is valid for 3 years.
