This bespoke programme develops academic knowledge in anatomy, physiology and performance, veterinary sciences and practice, professionalism and ethics, alongside practical skills training through clinical skills modules from the start of year one through to year four. Students learn how to integrate their knowledge of the animal’s physiology and pathology with the clinical presentation of the animal, evaluating potential and diagnosed conditions and devising individual treatment protocols. Research modules develop student skills in applying investigative methodologies to answer appropriate questions and hypotheses relevant to animal practice.
